2022 Jaguar F-Type P450 RWD Coupe is one of the last few aggressive V8 sports cars of this generation. Now, all the F-Type trims of this 2022 sports car come equipped with a supercharged 5.0L V8. Well, this is the last show for rowdy V8s before EVs completely take over.

Jaguar decided to bring back RWD to V8-equipped models because of advancements they’ve made in traction control. When the throttle is pressed, on a green light, the P450 spins those rears acquiring fishtailing before sets in by traction control. Underneath the F-Type’s arches sits a fully-independent multi-link suspension at all four corners tied together by adaptive dampers. The tires are from Pirelli P Zero PZ4s having a lot of grips. The steering has developed a decent amount of mid-corner weight, regardless of drive mode or road surface.

On the inside, the F-Type P450 features all Jaguar Land Rover’s best accouterments with ultra-comfortable tan Windsor leather performance seats with heating and cooling. The optional fixed panoramic roof lets in the right amount of light and doesn’t take away too much headroom. Interior materials are very nice with a good amount of leather-adorned surfaces and dense, quality-feeling plastic and brushed metal. The dash has a fake stitched-leather look to it. For 2022, all Jaguar F-Types feature a 10-inch touchscreen that comes equipped with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth. And an optional Meridian sound system is among the best.

The 2022 Jaguar F-Type P450 is powered by a supercharged 5.0L V8 producing 580 Nm of torque to the rear tires and 444 hp, which then struggles to keep it sticking to the ground, even with traction control on. The top speed is 177 mph, with a 0-60 mph run time of 4.4 seconds.
