The world may witness the newest installment of German car giant BMW launching its one of the most successful car models the BMW M2 on the 11th of October and likely to hit the roads anytime in the first quarter of 2023 and this new model is believed to be as chaotic as M4. A kind of its big brother is under development behind a badge of CSL or CS having noticeable hardware advancements over basic M2 model. We are awaiting its paparazzi photos but some reports are already sneaking out to show what could be cooking under the roof.
Engine & Specifications
A local publication managed to get some updates on what is being developed and reports are focusing on the promising performance and visual upgrades. The more exciting news for performance lovers seems to be on its way. Of course, not failing to give without any visual changes. The new CSL/CS badge model is believed to debut with powerful 3-liter twin turbo S58 engine providing an output of more than 470 HP same as basic M4 model. The output seems to be way more than what it is coming with current model. The visual changes consist of more aggressive front and an additional spoiler to give it sporty finish. This combination will be able to provide both riding and aesthetic experience for the iconic German mobility machine.
Performance
If these numbers turned out to be true, the ramped-up model under new badge will be more powerful by 29 hp able to deliver 444 hp power altogether than its basic model BMW M2. The throttle will be delivered by rear axle with the help of customized BMW designed 8 speed automatic gearbox. One more rumor is being spread about its all-wheel drive version but it is yet to be confirmed.

As per the updates, the weight will be kept lower than the basic model M2 and we are eager to have some more promising updates focusing on suspension and how the aerodynamics will be designed in the new powerful model but it should be aerodynamically more aggressive considering its figures and the focused users.
The more powered version will not be here anytime soon. Maybe in coming months they may start peeling off the tweaks about the powerful model but as of now they are devoting their time and efforts to the launching of standard model of M2.
