2023 GMC Yukon Performance & Specification

Contents

Overview

2023 GMC Yukon is one of the best, most spacious, and most luxurious vehicles in GMC’s division of best commercial vehicles and work trucks. This family SUV offers humongous accommodations across three rows of seats and even comes as a longer wheelbase model called Yukon XL, increasing more space for cargo. The base SLE variant is not old-school at all, offering a ton of convenience and technology features as standard. Unfortunately, the Yukon’s biggest rival is its own, sister brand Chevrolet’s Tahoe and Suburban SUVs. Both of them are mechanically identical and offer similar types of equipment for less money. What’s New?

The new top-of-the-line Denali Ultimate trim is added to the Yukon lineup for 2023, which features flashy Alpine Umber leather upholstery, 16-way power-adjustable front seats with massage, 18-speaker Bose stereo system, and open-pore wood trim. The Ultimate also sports darkened chrome trim on its grille and other exterior bits and floats on distinctive 22-inch wheels. The GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving highway technology is available but as an option. The Denali sports a unique interior design with a wood-trimmed dashboard and hand-stitched leather upholstery.

The unique power-sliding center console is available in SLT, AT4, and on the Denali. This allows the driver to move the center console back and forth on a 10-inch track to make room for first-row cargo. The cargo capacity is huge, mainly in the larger XL model, offering a whopping 145 cu ft. of maximum cargo space. All the Yukon models offer a large infotainment display with GMC’s latest infotainment interface as standard. Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and a Wi-Fi hotspot are all standard, but navigation and a Bose audio system are optional features.

Price

The base SLE starts at $57,795 and goes all the way up to $95,545 for the Denali Ultimate. We would recommend the mid-ranger, which offers most of the features that most buyers look for. This includes leather upholstery, 20-inch wheels, a power liftgate, heated and cooled front seats, and driver-assistance features.
