The 2023 Lincoln Aviator might be the four-wheeled living room you’re searching for if you like Lincoln’s brand of luxury but find the enormous Navigator SUV too big. Lincoln Aviator Engine, Power, Performance & Acceleration
The Lincoln Aviator’s 400-hp twin-turbo V6 is among the most powerful standard engines in the mid-size luxury SUV segment. The two propulsion sources combine for 494 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque, but the refinement isn’t quite up to snuff, with occasional thunks when the driveline reengages the gas engine.

Rear-wheel-drive Lincoln Aviators get 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the interstate, according to the EPA, while all-wheel-drive versions get 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. The Lincoln Aviator comes standard with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The sweet spot in the lineup is the Reserve trim, which offers all the luxury most buyers require and want without breaking the bank. Four-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera system, a panoramic sunroof, and a 14-speaker sound system are all included as standard features on the Reserve trim. An all-wheel drive is an option, but it costs more; rear-wheel drive is normal.
