The stylish monoblock wheels are also depicted in the same tan color, paying reference to the Project Maybach concept car’s black-and-tan color scheme. The luxury inside of the car maintains a two-tone design scheme. The Haute Voiture is the second special edition, which is similarly only available in 150 instances. The Haute Voiture is only available in S680 form and has matching monoblock wheels and an exterior painted in two tones of rose gold and blue.
Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Engine, Power, Performance & Acceleration
Every S580 sedan has a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 496 horsepower. It also has a 48-volt hybrid system. Choosing the S680 installs a 6.0-liter V12 engine with 621 horsepower. The Mercedes 4Matic AWD system will be standard on all variants. The V8 is highly powerful and has 33 more horsepower than the previous S560 from 2020. The S580 accelerated to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds during testing. However, the Maybach S-class’s most impressive feature isn’t that. The smoothness of the voyage and the cabin’s near silence struck us. A silky, ultra-quiet ride is made possible by the new model’s standard air suspension and active noise reduction technology. The Maybach is equipped as standard with the most recent MBUX infotainment system from Mercedes, which is presented on a 12.8-inch OLED touchscreen.
