Consider the brand-new 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto as a fusion of eras’ worth of aesthetics. It combines the Murcielago’s prominent snout with the Diablo’s hips. The Countach is where the wedge shape and scissor doors originate. There are many allusions to the past, but the Revuelto is a plug-in hybrid, not like any bull before it. With a total output of 1001 horsepower, its mid-mounted V-12 is assisted by two electric motors on the front axle and one motor mounted to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. While some purists may be outraged, Lamborghini assures them that more electrification only improves the supercar experience.

What’s New?
The brand-new Lamborghini Revuelto plug-in hybrid will go on sale in 2024. Because the Italians placed 12 cylinders where the backseats would typically be, the Revuelto only had two seats. A regular automobile is not the Revuelto. The cockpit of this car is more space race than auto. The steering wheel has four rotors that control the drive modes, and there are additional buttons that switch on the turn lights and start the launch control. It shouldn’t be difficult to believe Lamborghini’s claim that the Revuelto offers more head and legroom than the Aventador. A single golf bag can fit behind the seats, and the frunk area is large enough to fit two carry-on suitcases.
Engine, Motor, Range & Performance
When it comes to performance, this bull is no ballerina. The mid-mounted, 6.5-liter V12 with 814 hp and a redline of 9500 rpm is naturally aspirated. Two of the three electric motors included in the powertrain are used to drive the front wheels, and the third is used to assist the V-12 gasoline engine at the back axle and is incorporated into the eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This powerplant has the highest cumulative output of any Lamborghini ever at 1001 horsepower. Furthermore, it surpasses the 986-hp Ferrari SF90 Stradale to become the fastest plug-in hybrid ever. According to Lamborghini, the car can hit 62 mph in less than 2.5 seconds and have a top speed of more than 217 mph. And yes, this device has a mode for an entirely electric drive. The Revuelto’s 3.8kWh battery pack can power the vehicle for up to 6.2 miles, of all-electric range.

In contrast to other Lambos, the Revuelto’s interface is largely digital. The majority of the car’s controls, including those for the climate, are located on an 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen, but there is also a 9.1-inch screen on the passenger-side dashboard that displays information that could make someone motion sick, like speed, drive gear, and torque distribution. The 12.3-inch gauge cluster is managed by a third display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are wireless as standard.
