Lucid Motors Gravity Specifications & Features

The 2024 Lucid Gravity is an all-electric SUV that Lucid Motors is designing after releasing its stunning Air sedan for the 2021 model year. The seven-passenger Gravity is scheduled to go on sale in early 2024. Is anticipated to share the majority of its mechanical components and interior styling with the Air. So we can expect tremendous horsepower, a large battery pack, and a luxury cabin packed with contemporary comforts. When the Gravity debuts, it’ll have some catching up to do since an increasing number of competitors—including the Audi Q8 e-tron, Cadillac Lyriq, Jaguar I-Pace, and Tesla Model X—have already staked claims to the luxury-EV SUV category.

What’s New?

When introducing its Air premium car, Lucid hinted at the future Gravity SUV, suggesting it would be available in a few years. Now that it’s projected as a 2024 model, those who want a stunningly designed, long-range electric SUV in the same vein as the gorgeously designed, long-range Lucid Air car will have to wait a little while longer. The Gravity’s exterior has only been partially revealed by Lucid in a few photographs, but we can still make out two reclining second-row seats.

Lucid Motors Gravity Motor, Battery, Range & Performance

The Air sedan serves as the mechanical foundation for the Gravity SUV. And we anticipate a version with dual electric motors and standard AWD. Similar to the Air, the Gravity will probably be available in a high-performance Grand Touring model with up to 1200. However, a Sapphire variant with up to 1000 horsepower is also a possibility. The most expensive variants, like the Air, will probably be the most potent. With lower-end Gravity trims having lesser horsepower figures.

The Gravity’s taller, more angular SUV appearance will likely be less aerodynamic, and the range should be slightly reduced as a result. Even though its sedan brother promises a driving range of up to 516 miles per charge of its 112-kWh battery pack. The Gravity should still have a greater range than the Model X SUV with the highest efficiency, though. The Gravity should be able to charge quickly using DC fast charging, just like the Air. And may even include three years of free charging at Electrify America charging stations.

Lucid Motors Gravity Mileage

Since the Lucid Gravity SUV is still only a concept. The EPA’s predictions for its fuel efficiency haven’t yet been released, and we’ll probably have to wait a bit to find out.

Dimensions & Space

The infotainment system and features, like the rest of the inside of the Gravity, haven’t been completely disclosed. But according to Lucid, they’ll include the most recent iteration of the Glass Cockpit digital instruments and a new iteration of the company’s software interface. You may anticipate a sizable touchscreen entertainment system that seamlessly integrates into a digital gauge cluster. Although we haven’t heard anything regarding smartphone connectivity options like Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, voice recognition is undoubtedly going to be a common feature. Gravity’s infotainment options will be covered in more detail closer to the debut of the SUV.
