The new 2024 Volkswagen ID.Aero sedan will join the ID EV family following the Volkswagen ID.4 SUV and ID.Buzz minivan. The ID.Aero is designed with the thought of minimalism and modernism packed in an aerodynamic body thus the name Aero. Volkswagen’s new electric sedan will be similar to the ICE-powered Volkswagen Passat. As you can see from the visuals revealed by VW, the ID.Aero looks sleek and modern-looking and packed with modern-day features. We expect the EV sedan will feature a single and a dual motor design with a rear and all-wheel drive similar to the iD.4. The car will also be able to offer an electric driving range of over 275 miles. Similar to the other ID-badged cars, the VW ID.Aero will also come with a good battery and standard DC Fast charging abilities.

What’s New?
The ID.Aero will be an all-new model and it will join the other ID-badged cars in 2024. We expect it to go into production in later 2023 and will hit your nearest dealerships in 2024. So far, Volkswagen has only released the images of the car for now and has not revealed any information about the concept car.
Engine Specifications & Performance
The 2024 Volkswagen ID.Aero will be an all-new electric sedan that will join the other electric-powered cars in VW’s lineup. We expect the base single motor model will make over 201 hp and 229 lb-ft of torque with rear-wheel drive. The dual electric motor model will produce over 295 hp and 339 lb-ft of torque with all-wheel drive. The EV will accelerate from 0-60 mph in under 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 120 mph thanks to its aerodynamic body. Similar to ID.4, the new 2024 ID.Aero will deliver a more comfortable drive with its electric motors. The dual motor setup will provide more agility and a great steering response. We will update the performance specs as the car hit the roads.
Battery: Range & Charging
As the 2024 ID.Aero will share similar mechanical specifications as the ID.4 SUV and the upcoming ID.Buzz. It will come with similar battery size and capacity with an adequate driving range. The new ID.Aero will offer a 77-kWh battery that will provide an electric driving range of around 260 miles. The electric sedan will come equipped with DC Fast charging capability on all models as a standard feature provided by the company. The car will be able to charge from 5-80% in just 30 minutes plugged-in on a fast charger.
