Maserati Quattroporte Specifications & Features
The fittingly called 2025 Maserati Quattroporte sedan, whose name translates to “four doors,” will continue for a seventh generation that will go on sale for the 2025 model year. When it happens, the mid-size Ghibli is anticipated to vanish, leaving the new Quattroporte as the sole four-door model available from the manufacturer. The Quattroporte’s strong points are its curved sheetmetal and zippy engines. But its luxury has never felt particularly lavish, especially for a car with a six-figure price tag. Certainly not helpful were the knobs and switches from the Chrysler parts bin. However, after driving the 2017 GranTurismo, we have great expectations for the next Quattroporte. And we hope it will feature an interior with the same premium components and finishes as more recent Maserati vehicles. A Folglore variant with the greatest battery range is also planned; it will have three electric motors.

The redesigned Quattroporte sedan of the seventh generation should be on sale in 2025. The Quattroporte is anticipated to compete with vehicles like the BMW 5-series and Audi A6 rather than the 7-series and Audi A8 that compete with the outgoing model, with the Ghibli most likely out of the picture.
Maserati Quattroporte Engine, Power, Performance & Acceleration
The 3.0-liter V-6 twin-turbo engine of the next-generation Quattroporte is most likely to be coupled only to an eight-speed automated gearbox. The potent MC20 mid-engine sports car and the brand-new GranTurismo are both powered by the same engine, dubbed “Nettuno.” A standard version of 480 horsepower and a higher-performance tune with a loftier 560 horsepower are the two outputs we anticipate from the V-6. For those who demand the highest level of performance from their stylish Italian sedan, a significantly more potent EV model is anticipated to offer roughly 800 horsepower.

As with the GranTurismo coupe, we anticipate Maserati will launch the gas-powered Quattroporte with two distinct trim levels: the base Modena and the more premium Trofeo. The Modena will probably produce around 480 horsepower, while the Trofeo will probably produce a robust 560 horsepower. Despite this, both cars will use the same engine, just tuned to produce power in different ways. Although specific pricing information is still lacking, we estimate that the base MSRP will be close to $150,000.
