Overview
The Raptor is come with great off-roading capabilities and techy interior. It’s a bulkier and more powerful version of regular F-150 with improved chassis. Undoubtedly the 450 HP twin-turbo V6 is underpowered as compared to Ram TRX’s 702 HP supercharged V8. But with rich looking interior and features it looks upmarket. It can be upgraded with the 37-inch tires unlike the Ram TRX but you have to pay much more for it.
What’s New For 2022 ?
By the end of this year Ford might be introduce Raptor R with supercharged V8 engine making 700 plus HP. However, Ford doesn’t make any major changes to the F-150 Raptor.

Price & Features
The Ford F-150 Raptor starts from the price tag of $67,070 while F-150 Raptor R priced at $75,000. The 2022 F-150 Raptor is only offered with crew body style called as SuperCrew.
Comprehensive 801A high package include 4.10 front-axle ratio, 18-speaker B&O sound system, interior work surface, heated steering wheel, high-tech trailering assists, upgraded headlights, wireless charging. In Power Tech pack 2-kW ProPower generator is available.
It comes with 12.0-inch touchscreen with Sync 4 infotainment system which includes Amazon Alexa connectivity, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay.
F-150 raptor is scored 5-star in NHTSA safety rating. Forward-collision warning with automated emergency braking as standard. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist are also available.
Dimensions
Ford F-150 Raptor measures 232.6-inch long, 96-inch wide and has height of 79.8-inch with 145.4-inch long wheelbase. It has maximum towing capacity of 8200lbs and maximum payload is 1410lbs.

Engine & Performance
Under the F-150’s hood, 3.5-litre V6 EcoBoost engine producing 450 HP with the new 3.0-inch exhaust system that enhances the truck’s soundtrack. It comes with all-wheel drivetrain as a standard mated to 10-speed automatic transmission. Raptors suspension includes larger internal-bypass dampers and five-link rear coil spring setup. It offers standard set of 17-inch rims and 35-inch tires. You can upgrade it to the 37-inch BGFoodrich all-terrain tires for better approach, departure and break-over angles as well as ground clearance that increase from 120 to 1.1 inches. This beast can go from 0-60mph in 5.6 seconds and have a top speed of 118 mph.
Fuel Efficiency | Mileage
According to EPA, Ford F-150 delivers 15 mpg in city and 18 mpg on highway. But it will reduce to 14 mpg in city and 16 mpg on highway by opting bigger 37-inch tires.
