Tata Motors records highest sales in October 2023 with 48,600 units sold amid festive season
Tata Motors has achieved a significant milestone by reporting robust sales figures for October 2023. The company sold 48,600 units of vehicles during the month marking a remarkable 30% increase compared to the same month in the previous year when it sold 37,400 units. Tata Motors has also increased its market share, making it the third-largest car manufacturer in India with a share of 10.2%. 1. Tata Punch
The Tata Punch is a compact SUV launched on October 4, 2023, and has been well-received by customers. It garnered over 10,000 bookings within a week of its launch and achieved sales of over 6,000 units in October. It is available in four variants and has a starting price of Rs. 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
2. Tata Nexon
The Tata Nexon is a subcompact SUV that combines a powerful engine with a spacious cabin and a wide range of safety and convenience features. It holds the distinction of being the first car in India to receive a 5-star rating from Global NCAP for its crash test performance. In October, Nexon recorded sales of over 12,000 units with a 12% YoY growth.
3. Tata Harrier
The Tata Harrier is a premium mid-size SUV that competes with popular models like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. It features a striking design, a refined diesel engine, and a panoramic sunroof. In October, the Harrier achieved sales of over 4,000 units with an impressive YoY growth of 40%.
4. Tata Tiago

It is also known for being one of the most affordable cars in its class, with prices starting at Rs. 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). In October, the Tiago achieved sales of over 9,000 units, reflecting a strong YoY growth of 20%.
