The Vision 357 Speedster is a Porsche concept car that will make its debut at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed. This electric marvel pays homage to the historic Porsche 356, which served as the cornerstone of the brand and served as a source of inspiration for many. This concept car marks the festival’s 30th anniversary, aims to enchant automotive aficionados with its creative design and cutting-edge technologies.
Design and Features
The Vision 357 boasts a roadster body style with a passenger-side ‘tonneau’ cover, embracing classic sports car aesthetics with sculpted-pebble looks inspired by the legendary Porsche 356. The front headlamps sport ‘four-point light signets,’ paying homage to the 356’s iconic lights. Futuristic elements, like the 20” magnesium wheels and wing-like cameras on the sides, add a touch of innovation. Subtle air ducting cools the powertrain, while quirky touches, including a vertical grille on the rear, integrated diffuser, bright blue quick-release hood catches, and a tow strap on the front bumper
Vision 357 Speedster Performance
The Vision 357 features a futuristic powertrain with an all-electric motor and battery from the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 e-Performance, sending power to all four wheels. It can achieve a peak output of approximately 1070 hp and sustain around 600 hp during a 30-minute race. The chassis is derived from the 718 GT4 Clubsport. The powertrain hails from the Mission R electric race car. This allows it to charge from 5% to 80% in just 15 minutes at 350 kW. The perfect blend of retro and modern design with cutting-edge performance capabilities.
