Bajaj Pulsar NS400z: More Power, Lower Price
Bajaj has slashed the price of the Pulsar NS400z by Rs 14,000, making it available at a new ex-showroom price of Rs 1.80 lakh.
The price drop is the result of a strategic engine downsize from 373cc to 349cc to benefit from lower tax rates in India.
Buyers can enjoy total on-road savings of up to Rs 24,500 because the lower displacement reduces registration and insurance costs.
While the displacement is lower, the power output only sees a minor dip to 40 bhp, which remains very punchy for highway and city use.
Despite the lower price tag, the motorcycle keeps its premium hardware including USD forks, ride-by-wire, and a slipper clutch.
High-tech features like traction control, four ride modes, and Bluetooth connectivity with navigation are still standard on the bike.
This update makes the NS400z a highly competitive alternative that is now much cheaper than the Triumph Speed 400 and KTM 390 Duke.
