BMW Is Selling An EV Out of Every Fourth Car In India

BMW plans to increase the sales of electric vehicles (EVs) in India. One of every four car will be an electric car sold in India.

The automaker is currently has 10% cars as electric in the company's total sales.

BMW India to increase EV sales by 15% in 2024 and about 25% by 2025 in India.

Globally the automaker plans to launch 12 new electric vehicles in the global markets. 

The company sells the Mini Electric, iX1, iX, i4, and the i7 in the Indian market. 

The German giant plans to launch 18 more vehicles and 3 new bikes in the Indian markets in the coming years.

The Indian luxury market is showing exponential growth with top-end vehicle sales increasing compared to the last quarter.
