Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid Revealed: Boasts A 451cc Hybrid Engine
Japanese motor company Kawasaki recently revealed the Ninja e-1 and the Z e-1. Alongside that, they also showcased the new Ninja 7 Hybrid motorcycle.
To jog your memory, the bikemaker had presented the HEV concept at last year’s EICMA.
Being a hybrid, Kawasaki has equipped the Ninja 7 Hybrid with a 451cc, parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine and an electric motor.
Together, these promise a net output of 58 hp, –around 13 hp more than the Kawasaki Ninja 400.
The Ninja 7 Hybrid also does away with a traditional clutch-gear shifter, in favor of shift paddles on the left-hand side switch cluster, similar to Honda’s DCT-gearbox bikes.
The Ninja 7 Hybrid also allows riders to automatically select 1st gear with the push of a button thanks to the Automatic Launch Position Finder.
We'll see if the new Ninja 7 Hybrid will make it to India. It is set for the January 2024 Europe launch.
