Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to launch its flagship SUV Mahindra XUV700 in India. This new SUV from the company will work on the W601 platform. Earlier it was said that this will be the new generation car of XUV500. However, it will replace the XUV500 in the Indian market. An official spokesperson of Mahindra said that after the launch of XUV700, the company will stop the production of XUV500. The company is set to launch its XUV700 SUV in India this year.

The Mahindra XUV500 is the company’s flagship SUV. Which was launched by Mahindra in the Indian market in 2011. The company had launched it at a price of less than Rs 15 lakh. It was a popular SUV in this segment at the time. However, with the advent of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Jeep Compass, sales have plummeted.
Mahindra XUV700 Platform
The new SUV will built on the Monocoque platform. It can be given the latest world-class safety features. Apart from this, the company can launch it in the Indian market with both petrol and diesel engines. It will offer customers both manual and automatic transmissions. In addition, it will offer an all-wheel drive.
Its spy photos have already gone viral on social media and online internet. The company will offer features like electronic parking brakes and advanced driver assistant parking system (ADAS). It will have 6 airbags with ABS, EBD, 4 disc brakes with ISOFIX child seat mount. It features full LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, new large grille, sporty alloy wheels, and new horizontally mounted LED taillights.
The new Mahindra XUV700 comes with a large single unit screen in the style of Mercedes-Benz. Featuring split infotainment and instrument cluster. It will support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Apart from this, you can see features like automatic climate control, sunroof.
