Hertz is an American car rental company founded in 1918. Hertz and Shelby teamed up to make the 2022 Hertz Ford Mustang Shelby GT500-H. These two earlier teamed up in 1966 with the GT350-H and tuned the vehicle to make 306 hp instead of 271 hp. Though they teamed up in 2006 and 2016 they didn’t make anything like they did with the Shelby GT500.

The most powerful mustang ever the 2022 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is no less in performance. With a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine making a gigantic 760 horsepower and 625 pound-feet of torque. Coupled with a rapid 7-speed dual clutch transmission the vehicle can accelerate from 0-60mph in 3.6 seconds and can reach a top speed of 180 mph. In addition to that, they made a limited edition GT500KR that produces power of over 900 hp.
Now Shelby along with Hertz tuned this vehicle and made a new 2022 Hertz Ford Mustang Shelby GT500-H. This vehicle gets a power output of 950 hp at 7900 rpm and a torque of 635 lb-ft at 5180 rpm. This vehicle, having the same transmission can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.3 sec and can reach a top speed of 180 mph. This rear-wheel-drive vehicle can cover a 1/4 mile distance in a time of just 10.5 sec. Has a fuel economy rating of 10 on the highway, 15 in the city, and 12mpg combined.
In the three-year partnership, Shelby will build 25 GT500-H. Of which 19 will get Shadow Black and 6 will get Oxford White and all will have the iconic gold racing stripes. The GT500-H can be rented in the cities of Las Vegas, Phoenix, Tampa, Orlando. Fort Myers, and Miami for $399 per day and tax, insurance. You can drive for 75 miles with this fee and any miles beyond that should pay $0.75.
