Overview
Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is a compact SUV that was in production from 2017. It was made available in 2018 for countries like Japan, Australia, and North America and later in Mexico and Indonesia in 2019. This vehicle used quite a few engines for its petrol, diesel, and hybrid variants but did not manage to provide that antagonistic power the vehicle needed. The exterior design was too good with the compact sporty sharp looks and the interior was more spacious but not a premium-looking one. So 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross was launched to be in the ethnicity.
What’s New ?
The new 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross was redesigned and came with a few changes at the front and rear parts of the vehicle, The split window at the rear was made into a single one to improve the visibility. And speaking about the interiors even though the layout remained the same, the infotainment screen is made a lot bigger and equipped with two knobs to control the volume and power.

Engine, Transmission, 0-60 mph, Top Speed & Performance
The engine is unchanged, it comes with the same 1.5L turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 16-valve inline-4 engine with port and direct fuel injection, as the previous year’s models. This engine can produce a maximum power of 152 hp at 5500 rpm and 184 lb-ft torque at 2000 rpm. And is coupled to a continuously variable-speed automatic transmission. As per the C/D TEST RESULTS the vehicle can reach a top speed of 118 mph and can accelerate from 0-60mph in 8.6 sec. The road-holding is ok when tested on a 300-ft-dia skidpad it had a result of 0.76 g. It is observed that the engine noise is less and the ride quality is good though there was no huge power.
Fuel Economy | Mileage
2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross has an MPG rating of 25 in the city, 26 on the highway, and an overall combined rating of 25. Which is not that good when compared with others.
