Audi A4 has been an excellent car since its launch in 1995. It initially came as a 4-door saloon, and later as a 5-door estate from 1996 and also as a 2-door Cabriolet from 2002–2009. Built on Volkswagen Group B5 (PL45) platform the 1996 model had a front-mounted longitudinal engine and front-wheel drive. And used various types of petrol and diesel engines over the years. The 2023 Audi A4 comes equipped with LED headlamps on all the trims and a few of them get Bang and Olufsen stereo system with 19 speakers. The 45 trims get black exhaust tips and a black rear lip spoiler with the black optics plus package, while adaptive cruise control is offered in the Convenience package. Audi also adds two new colors, Chronos Gray and District Green, and the interior is much more modernized by adding a few more technology features.
Engine Specifications & Performance
All trims of the 2023 Audi A4 equip a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a 12-volt hybrid system. The 40’s produce a power output of 201 hp while the 45’s produce 261 hp. And the engine is coupled to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and makes the 45’s accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 4.8 seconds and takes 12.9 sec to accelerate to 100 mph. The 13.3-in vented disc brakes are quite good with this vehicle making the vehicle stop from 70 mph in 149 ft distance and 100–0 mph in 304 ft. The new 2023 Audi A4 comes in various trim levels from base Premium 40 for $40,995 to a top Prestige 45 for $51,995. There isn’t much difference between the 40’s and 45’s of each range. But the Premium Plus trim gives more value for your money with features like a reconfigurable digital gauge, wireless charging pad, memory settings for the seat and mirrors for the driver, and a keyless entry with push-button start. And with a difference of just over $1,000 you can get a powerful 45.
