2023 Ford Ranger Raptor is just a downsized version of the high-flying, velocity-defying F-150 Raptor. If one is a hardcore off-roader, but also needs something more affordable than the best-in-class big brother, the off-road-ready Ranger is made for them. This also features flared fenders, rugged tires, extra ground clearance, and an unmistakable grille. However, it rides on the same fully boxed ladder frame as the regular Ranger. But the Raptor variant receives a long-travel suspension for soaring over jumps and a more powerful engine for quicker desert runs. This Ford will only be offered in one body style; i.e., a crew cab connected to a five-foot cargo box. The interior should have unique furnishing and a feature-laden infotainment system.

A new set of fiery wheels is added to the trucker lineup of Ford with all that American muscle in the genes. Similar but smaller to F-150 Raptor but significantly not taking much of the yard. Ford has confirmed that the Ranger Raptor will indeed be sold in the U.S., following the reveal of the global version.
Engine & Performance
The 2023 Ranger Raptor will be powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-Liter V6 that’s said to pump out 392 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. However, these figures can differ slightly from the U.S. version. It’s the same setup found on the Ford Bronco Raptor, which includes a 10-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive as standard. Completing with locking front and rear differentials. Compared to its road-friendly counterpart, the Raptor has a sturdier suspension and beefier off-road equipment. Also, it has a higher ride height and increased ground clearance, it has 33-inch all-terrain tires that bookend wider front and rear tracks. Expect it not to be very fast but capable of a bulky-boulder pulling strength.

Expect every Ranger Raptor to feature an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Ford’s latest Sync infotainment software. The Ranger Raptor is expected to go on sale as a 2023 model, but Ford hasn’t released its pricing yet. Expect its starting price to exceed the top-of-the-line Ranger Lariat (currently priced at around $40,000).
