Hyundai recently launched the 2023 Hyundai Cruz pickup in the US market. The premium line of the Cruz lineup will start at a base price of around $27,000. Apart from that, Hyundai has introduced a new Night Model with some visual improvements and other updates compared to other models.
What’s New?
The 2023 Hyundai Cruz is an all-new pickup by the Korean carmaker. Hyundai will offer a new Night model along with the Cruz that packs some visual tweaks and other improvements. The Night model will come with a 2.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The powerful engine will produce 281 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. The standard variants will offer a 2.5liter naturally aspirated engine that makes 191 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque.
Engine Specifications
Except for the Night model, the Hyundai Cruz is available in eight different models with different configuration levels. All come with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes different power outputs according to the trim with front or all-wheel drive.
Design & Interior
The 2023 Hyundai Cruz features an upscale design with a large front grille finished in dark chrome, LED lights, and new headlamps similar to other Hyundai cars. The Cruz gets new side cladding with new dual-cut alloy wheels. From the rear, the car looks bold and modern with its new LED taillights and high rear bumper. With its bold looks, the Hyundai Cruz gets a new interior and offers more features that look modern-day and premium. The pickup gets a nicely-appointed interior with comfortable seats, a digital cluster, new infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The pickup also offers wireless charging, automatic climate control, steering controls, ventilated seats, power-adjusted front seats, etc.
Pricing
The 2023 Hyundai Cruz starts at a base price of around $27,000 while the premium Night edition is priced at around $37,000.
