2023 Hyundai Veloster will hit the roads soon. The brand is set to end the production of the Veloster in South Korea in July. According to a report, Hyundai Motor Company is discontinuing the Veloster after 11 years. This move is said to fortify the production of the next-gen Kona, the Elantra N, AKA the Avante N in its home country.
What’s New?
The brand currently manufactures the Veloster N exclusively, leaving the standard. Currently, it is being manufactured in one of the production facilities of Hyundai’s Ulsan 1 plant where the Kona is assembled. Both local and global markets want the Elantra N over the Veloster N. The automaker has been selling fewer Veloster N units since the debut of the performance sedan last year. This is quite understandable as these two cars overlap in terms of performance.

But as we talk, the next-gen Hyundai Kona has been spotted many times on public roads, with less camouflage than before. The second-gen Kona retains the split-headlight configuration. The Kona is expected to be revealed in full in 2023, pondering that the facelifted model was just introduced in late 2020. Both hybrid and electric versions are coming in the new generation model.
