The 2023 Sprinter is provided with three engine configurations to fit your needs with options to choose from the rear of all-wheel drive options. The luxury van offers different levels of roof height abilities with three body styles available for every sort of your work.
What’s New For 2023?
Mercedes have made the powertrain options much easier for the new Sprinter. It comes with 168 or 208 hp diesel or 188 hp gasoline engines. The brand now offers an optional all-wheel-drive system which they offer with their E Class and S Class sedans. The power delivery is not 50-50 with front and rear ends.
Engine, 0-60 MPH, Top Speed & Performance
All variants come with three engine options. A turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 188 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. It also offers two turbocharged four-cylinder diesel-powered variants which make 168 hp and 208 hp with 296 and 332 lb-ft of torque. Without the V6 which Mercedes offered before, the car comes with the same nine-speed automatic transmission and an optional all-wheel-drive system suited best for your outdoor adventures. The van can achieve a top speed of 99 mph and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 8.2 seconds. Considering the number of customization people will do on this car just surprised by how capable the specs are. The car split the torque from 50-50 per axle with the new AWD system onboard.
Mileage & Towing Capacity
The Sprinter Van is expected to deliver around 18 mpg in the city and around 21 mpg on the highway with the turbo diesel engine. Although the company hasn’t mentioned anything regarding the payload capacity, it will be similar to what Ford delivers with its Transit van.

Pricing
The new Sprinter Van is offered with various powertrain options and because of that, the price points vary quite a bit. The Cargo van starts at $41,000, the Crew van starts at $46,000 and the top-tier Passenger van starts at a price of $48,000.
