The compact SUV from Mitsubishi comes to the 2023 market of compact SUVs challenging some on top of the list. The Eclipse Cross comes with a turbocharged 1.5-litre which makes 152 horsepower. It comes paired with an all-wheel drive powertrain and a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) which degrades its acceleration. The car remains all over the road in terms of handling but the quiet and peaceful interior balances it out. The SUV remains on top in terms of the comfort provided but seems a little short in comparison to the Volkswagen Tiguanin Or Hyundai Tucson.

Engine, Transmission and Performance
The turbocharged four-cylinder makes the car a little slow owing to its weight and size. The engine is paired with a CVT which protects it from wear and tear. It delivers performance way too smoothly than the normal transmission. The car is quiet when an aggressive acceleration is applied. The well-insulated interior of the car cuts off all engine noise and provides you with maximum comfort. The Eclipse Cross’s suspension is tuned for comfort; taking corners at speed results in moderate body roll. The soft suspension kicks in on rough terrain providing you with the best drive quality. The steering of the car has also been nicely integrated and improved from the previous Mitsubishi cars. It has been designed to feel more light and accurate.
