2023 Range Rover Sport teased ahead of its global debut on May 10
Overview
In the last few years, we saw the 2023 Range Rover Sport testing many times. The first prototype of the flagship SUV was spied in February 2020. And now, after more than two years, the next-generation SUV is ready for launch. Jaguar-Land-Rover teased the new Range Rover Sport with the green light on its launch day on May 10.
We assume that the British automaker is planning for a full-fledged show to unveil the next-gen flagship SUV. ”The global reveal will include a dramatic debut” for the model, which will “continue the daring exploits of its predecessor by undertaking a unique challenge for its launch.” It roughly explains how the new Range Rover Sport will have its presence during its launch.
Engine, Performance, 0-60 MPH & Top Speed
We expect a variety of powertrain options. The next-generation Range Rover Sport will come with an electrified six-cylinder engine with a plug-in hybrid variant up till the most powerful V8 engine. The top-spec V8 variant will produce around 600 horsepower. It will have an expected 0-60 mph time of 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 176 mph.

Talking about the RR Sport, it has previously set some good speed records. In March 2018, the Range Rover Sport SUV climbed the menacing Tianmen Mountain road. It is popular for its 99 grueling corners. The new RR Sport will debut by setting more records, as the company promises an “adrenaline-filled reveal.”

Land Rover didn’t reveal much information regarding the upcoming SUV, but it says the new Range Rover Sport “has been redefined, effortlessly blending unmistakable presence, unveiled on-road capability, and the latest advanced digital and chassis technologies.” We assume the next-generation Range Rover Sport will pack some really great performance upgrades.
