For the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross, now in its second year, the big news is the addition of a hybrid powertrain to supplement with the rear wheels driven electrically by two motor-generators.
Engine, Performance, Mileage
Compiling a 169-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder Engine Along with two motor-generators, AWD or FWD is the owners choice for the Engine, but the motors are for the Rear set of wheels. Well don’t expect much power from a daily user, as the estimated 0-60 mph is declared in 8.0 seconds by the Toyota itself.
Though if you are more interested in the mileage, it is expected to be around 37 mpg overall. Quite a handy ride it is gonna be.
The more about the ride is yet to be revealed. Hope Toyota doesn’t tests much of our patience.
