Ford has unveiled the 2024 Ford E-Transit Custom in May with not sharing any details about its specifications. The company has revealed the official specs for the E-Transit and we have more information about the van.
2024 Ford E-Transit Specs:
The new Ford E-Transit will offer two variants with over 135 hp and 217 hp of power. Both models will offer an instantaneous torque of 306 lb-ft, enough to compete with their diesel-powered rivals. The workhorse will offer 74-kWh of usable battery with higher energy density and more than 236 miles of WLTP driving range. The battery supports fast charging with up to 125 kW that can go from 15-80% in just 41 minutes. Ford also bundles supplied an 11 kW charger that can juice up the car in 8 hours.
The E-Transit also offers reverse charging support with up to 2.3 kW and can charge your other electrical accessories. It offers a low drag coefficient with a lower vehicle floor and individual rear suspension. The E-Transit is offered in two options with two wheelbases and two roof heights. It offers a maximum load volume of 5.8 to 9 cubic meters with a load compartment of 3.45 meters. The Ford E-Transit will also have a payload capacity of 2,425 lbs. and a towing capacity of 4,409 lbs). The production of the 2023 E-Transit will start in fall 2023 at Ford’s plant in Kocaeli, Turkey.
