Toyota has not shared or disclosed any information about its upcoming truck. As per many rumors, the Tacoma EV will offer a sturdy build paired with a powerful powertrain setup. The 2024 Tacoma EV will adopt the company’s new global architecture F-body frame. The electric pickup will offer the same sturdy build as the 4Runner, Sequoia, and Tundra but with a new modern look. The Tacoma EV will offer a single and dual electric motor setup making up to 400 hp with rear or all-wheel drive. The pick-up will offer an acceleration from 0-60 mph in under five seconds with a top speed of 99 mph.

Toyota hasn’t shared any specs about the truck’s battery or range, so we’ll have to wait for the official specs list. We expect the upcoming Tacoma EV will come in various battery sizes depending upon the model. The electric pickup will provide a driving range of over 300 miles on a single charge. The pick-up will offer DC fast charging tech as standard and will also come with reverse AC plug-in ports.

We have estimated the specifications and the price of the upcoming 2023 Toyota Tacoma EV based on the models and the competition. The base Tacoma SR will start at around $28,000 and can go up to $50,000 for the top-spec TRD Pro model. We expect the 2024 Tacoma EV to go on sale later in 2023 with production starting soon.
