2. 1968 Ford Gulf GT40 (Le Mans)
Till now the second most expensive car sold at auction in this list is this GT40. Loved by racing car movies enthusiasts, this car has been the part of one of the most exciting and famous car movies ever i.e. Le Mans. This version of GT40 contains V8 capable of producing 500 hp. It was sold at a stunning $11 million.
3. 1955 Ferrari 750 Monza Spyder (On The Beach)
Starred in the 1959 drama, On The Beach, this Ferrari was at the bottom of the heart of Fred Astaire’s scientist. The car contains a 4-cylinder engine that produces 260 hp, not bad at that time. Also having a 5-speed transmission, only 35 of these were ever made. This movie car was sold for $2.5 million.

4. 1954 Ferrari 375 MM Berlinetta (Lucky To Be A Woman)
The Ferrari 375 MM Berlinetta starred in the several scenes at the race track with Charles Boyer in the movie Lucky To Be A Woman. Containing V12 engine at that time this car can boast 340 hp along with an impressive style. It was sold in 2010 for a stupendous $4.7 million.
5. 1956 Ferrari 250 GT LWB Berlinetta (The Love Bug)
1956 Ferrari 250 GT LWB Berlinetta featured int he 1956 movie The Love Bug along with another car co-star Herbie, the lovable VW. 6. 1965 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe (Redline 7000)
Sold for nearly $8 million, 1965 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe is a unique model because it is one of the first cases of product placement in film. Made under the direction of legendary director Howard Hawks, The 1965 movie Redline 7000 featured some exciting stock cars. Having 4.7L V8 car is capable of giving 385 hp.

9. 1966 Batmobile (Batman)
Everybody must have known Batman and so do his legendary ride Batmobile. Starred in Batman movie, it is one of the coolest comic book cars ever made. Looking great with its fun design, originally it is a 1955 Lincoln weighing nearly 5500 pounds. With a 360 hp V8, this comic car was sold for $4.6 million.

10. 1928 Mercedes-Benz S 26/180 Boattail Speedster (Sylvia Scarlett)
Owned by Marx Brothers, 1928 Mercedes-Benz S 26/180 Boattail Speedster was an amazing lineage car used in 1935 film Sylvia Scarlett. This pair of drive contains a 6–cylinder engine giving 180 hp. ‘Old is gold’, this quote sets true here as we see that this 1928 classic was sold at the 2012 auction for an amplified price of $3.7 million.
