BMW added a new entry-level eDrive35 variant that offers a smaller battery which produces slightly less power and offers less range. The new eDrive35 model uses a 66.0 kWh battery and delivers a claimed electric range of 260 miles. The i4 also offers the BMW’s M 50th anniversary emblem with the M50 model. The car’s synthesized sounds that remind you of an ICE-powered engine will be offered separately from the Premium package.

The 2023 i4 is offered in three flavors with different configurations and power dynamics. The base eDrive35 variant some with a single electric motor that makes 281 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. The eDrive35 variant can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.8 seconds and offers a driving range of around 260 miles. The mid eDrive40 variant also features a single electric motor that makes 335 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque.
