Secondly, the range which is just a little over 200 miles on a full charge. The car comes in 2023 with all new visuals. The front grille and the lighting system of the car has been completely redesigned as compared to the previous Nissan models. It will come in just two variants namely the the base model S and the long range model SV plus.

The leaf comes with a standard front wheel drive making 147 Hp with its single motor. The motor is powered by a 40kWh battery pack. The S models managed to reach the 60 mph marks from a still stop in 7.4 seconds. These number as way less the the competitors in the market making it one the standard cars in the market. Other than this the car comes with an interesting feature. While driving on the road if you lift off the accelerator. The Leaf’s e-Pedal feature allows the driver to toggle back and forth between regenerative braking modes, one of which allows the car to coast when the driver lifts off the throttle and another that slows the car when you take your foot off the gas and uses that energy to recharge the battery.

A standard 120 V outlet or a 240 V outlet can charge the car in just 7 hours as per the company. The Leaf S comes with 40kWh battery which has a range of just 149 miles. Whereas the SV plus model with the larger battery pack can have a range of over 215 miles.

The car is well designed utilizing every available space in it. It comes with a decent size trunk which can easily fit a weeks grocery. The rear seats of the car are comfortable even for adults even though it being a hatchback. The front seats are a little small for a 6 feet person as the leg touches the dashboard. The car also comes with a 8.0 inch infotainment system which adds to the comfort of a person.
