2023 Honda City Launching In India – Check Details

Honda city is one of the most successful mid-size sedan in India. With high performance petrol engine, tons of features, spacious & good fuel economy. Now its ready for the fifth generation. This upgraded facelift City was spotted testing in Thailand. It is expected to launch in early 2023 and will come to Indian auto market in late 2023 or early 2024. The facelift was seen with minor changes includes front and real bumpers and lights. It is likely to get the same powertrain options as the existing model have 1.5-liters Inline 4-Cylinder.

Specification, Performance & Launch

2023 Honda City is all set to compete with the newly launched Toyota Yaris. The Honda City is redesigned and loaded with tons of features along with level one ADAS feature which is pretty insane. This time Honda is not going to continue with diesel variant although it will get two engine options one is 1.0-liters Turbocharge Petrol which will generate power up to 122 bhp horsepower at 5500 RPM and 173 NM of Torque and other is 1.5-liters Inline 4-Cylinder Hybrid engine which will come to India too. This hybrid engine is amazing at performance and mileage at the same time.

2023 Honda City will directly compete with Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Vertus and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz in India. So lets see once it launch and we’re here with all details to compete with the competitors.

Honda India Manage to sell over 9 Lakh Honda City in India in past 25 years which includes both Import and Export of the vehicle. The new generation Honda City will get the starting price somewhere between 11 lakh and for the high end variant will go up to 16 Lakh Ex-Showroom.
