The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee is every way a powerful Jeep in terms of its strong muscular and it’s superior off road capabilities and delivers a great ride experience with confident driving like you could expect from a Jeep Wrangler. For the 2022, Jeep makes the two row body style available after when it was only available for a three row seats style in 2021.

The new Grand Cherokee comes with many drivetrain options. The base variant which packs a 3.6 Litre turbocharged V6 engine which makes 293 hp and 260 lb ft of torque and a more powerful V8 option is also present which makes a good 357 hp and 390 lb ft of torque. Interestingly enough, the new Grand Cherokee also adds a new plug-in hybrid model with V6 engine which makes 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. All engines are paired with an eight speed automatic transmission with rear wheel drive on the base and all wheel drive on the rest of the variants with a electronically limited slip differential.
It can blast off from 0-60 mph in a quick 6.3 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 120 mph. And just as you expect from a Jeep (well it’s not a wrangler) it’s just great on on-road capabilities as well as a fabulous off-road capability. Fitted with a great and comfort freny cabin with every bits of convenience. This Grand Cherokee manages to deliver really great handling and good riding experience thanks to it’s high ground clearance and adjustable suspension and offers a confident driving indulged in a great fun just with plenty of power that it needed and with a perky acceleration. Of Course for the power hungry people the SRT variant if the Grand Cherokee is also available.
Fuel Economy | Mileage
The new Jeep Grand Cherokee with it’s base V6 can deliver a mileage of 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway with it’s rear wheel drive and a drop of 1 mpg while adding the all wheel drive. And the powerful V8 which delivers a mileage of 14 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. While the plug-in hybrid model is the most fuel efficient of all delivering a combined 28 mpg and it’s 14 kWh battery which can go upto 25 miles in a single charge.
