The country’s leading automaker Mahindra & Mahindra will soon launch a new sport utility vehicle Mahindra XUV700 in India. The company has announced this new SUV on social media. According to Mahindra, the new SUV will have world-class features and set a new benchmark in technology and features in this segment.

Portfolio
The vehicle portfolio of the new SUV will be between model XUV500 and Alturas G4. According to Mahindra, the SUV will feature world-class features. This car will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options in India. It will be offer with both manual and automatic transmission gearboxes. Which can be seen in all SUVs. In addition, it will be launch along with the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system.

Interior Features
The company will keep this SUV longer and wider than the current model XUV500. This SUV will also have cabin space. This new SUV will be base on the Global Platform (W601). It includes state-of-the-art features and technology. It features an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Panoramic sunroof and a large touchscreen infotainment system.
Mahindra XUV 700 Engine Specification
The company did not share any information about its engine and other mechanisms. However, the company can use a 2.2-liter diesel and 2.0-liter petrol engine. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual and torque converter automatic transmission gearbox.
Launch Date
The company has announced the launch of this SUV. But, the launch date has not been announce yet by Mahindra Company. According to media reports, the company may launch the car by October.
