Engine, Top Speed, 0-60mph & Performance
The 2022 X5 will fulfil every need of your power with it’s three powertrain options to choose from. Every option is paired with an eight speed automatic transmission with rear or all wheel drive (standard on the top spec M50i model). The base model comes with a 3.0 Liter twin-turbocharged inline six cylinder engine which makes 335 hp and 331 lb ft of torque whereas the new plug-in hybrid model comes with 3.0 Liter twin-turbocharged inline six cylinder engine paired with an electric motor and makes a combined 389 hp and 443 lb ft of torque and also provides an electric only range of up to 30 miles.
And the top spec M50i variant that comes with a 4.4-Liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine which makes a powerful 523 hp and 553 lb ft of torque. The 2022 X5 can blast off from 0-60 in 5.3 – 4.1 seconds depending on which model you go for and can achieve an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.
