Edward Regan Murphy popularly known as Eddie Murphy was born on April 3, 1961 Brooklyn, New York, U.S.A is an actor, comedian, writer, producer, and singer. His father was a transit police officer and an amateur comedian who was murdered in 1969 when Murphy was 8.
