Elon Musk Have Some Amazing Cars In His Garage
Elon Reevs Musk FRS (born 28 June, 1971) CEO, founder and chief engineer at SpaceX, StarLink and CEO plus product architect of Tesla Inc. Entrepreneur and a business magnet who sure has heads and hands wrapped around some other ventures too like he founded The Boring Company and is the co founder Neuralink and OpenAI.
But you might not know that he’s also a bit of a gearhead too. He has pushed all kinds of interesting and controversial technologies, like to reduce gas and carbon emissions to net zero by the help of solar and other renewable energy sources and to provide high speed internet with the help of his endeavour at StarLink satellites in the orbit and as well as a plan to colonize Mars in the foreseeable future via his company SpaceX. Love or hate him, the man is definitely a revolutionary and doggedly marches to the beat of his own drum, which is admirable.
Very few people on this planet are as fascinating and awesome and cool as Elon Musk. And when you are one of the richest person on this planet and a Billionaire with a net worth of a whopping $220 Billion. then you sure do have a mind blowing collection of cool rides in your garage. 1. 1967 Jaguar E-Type Roadster
It was the year 1988, when at the age of 17, where most the kids go to college and finishing up high school. Elon cofounded a software based company called Zip2 with his brother. And as a bonus check of $40,000 which he got from the venture capitalists, he had a perfect excuse to spend the money on this Special 1967 Jaguar E-type Roadster. He calls this car his first love which clearly is, because this is one of the rarest and coolest looking iconic car that has ever been made. This car comes with a 3.8L engine which produces 265hp and has a top speed of 150 mph. And according to some car nerds this some of the models of this car can today costs you up to a $400,000.
2. 1976 Lotus Esprit, aka ‘Wet Nellie”
Who isn’t a James Bond fan? I’m sure I am and Clearly Elon Musk is one of them too. This custom made Lotus Esprit aka “Wet Nellie”, was created by a company in Florida and cost $100,000 and although it only served as an underwater prop, but didn’t stopped Musk from paying nearly $1 million for this James Bond memorabilia in 2013.
“It was amazing as a little kid in South Africa to watch James Bond drive his Lotus Esprit off a pier, press a button and have it transform into a submarine underwater,” said Musk. “I was disappointed to learn that it can’t actually transform. What I’m going to do is upgrade it with a Tesla electric powertrain and try to make it transform for real.” Which was really a joke if you consider it now wouldn’t you Elon?
3. 1920 Ford Model T
This car is the most selling car in the world of all time, originally introduced in the year 1905 by Henry Ford. Selling over more than $16 Million Ford Model T’s across the globe, which is the highest selling numbers of cars ever produced till date. This car was a gift from a friend of Elon’s which he still has right now. Ford originally came with a 2.9L engine producing over 20hp and had a top speed of 45 mph. And today this car hold a price tag of $24,000.

4. Tesla Model S Performance
This 2019 Tesla Model S Performance is a specced up version of the Model S. Which comes with a Ludacris mode where it can go to 0-60mph in just under 2.4 seconds. With 774hp and a top speed of 155 mph and a range of 315 Miles. And this daily driver of Elon’s (not now, now he he drives the Model S Plaid which we’re talking about in a bit) costs $91,000.

5. Tesla Model S Plaid
This high performance beast of a machine and a marvelous piece of engineering is the quickest car that has ever been produced till date and a daily driver of Elon’s. This car is just insanely quick and fast as it says in it’s name “Plaid” with the fastest 0-60mph under 2 seconds with insane 1,100hp. A top speed of 200 mph and costs around $145,000.
6. Tesla Cybertruck
Entering into the world of futuristic cars when Elon Musk unveiled it’s next hyper pick-up EV, the Tesla Cybertruck back in 2019. This truck is just beyond anyone’s expectation with it’s jaw dropping looks seems like someone from a SciFi movie made it. It flooded the meme pages and broked the internet with it’s looks after it was unveiled. Elon often often likes to roam around on road and his Tesla Giga Factory with this Cybertruck.
This truck will come with tri motor design producing over 690hp and 1,118 Nm of torque. With a staggering 500 miles of range and can go 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 120 mph and will cost around $70,000. Well the full specs are yet to be revealed when it’ll roll out officially by the end of 2021-22 as expected. So we have to wait for that.
