Ferrari has finally unveil their all-new 296 GTB hybrid last week. The 296 GTB is the latest
update from Italian supercar manufacturer with all new hybrid V6 by replacing traditional V8
engines. This latest supercar will be the perfect alternative with all time hit F8 Tributo which is going to be discontinued in 2022 once this cars delivered.

Ferrari 296 GTB: Design and Styling
The 296 GTB gets a complete new design with extra design add-ons to enhance active
aerodynamic package employed for its recent predecessors. This is something special that
Ferrari did something different with its mid-engine sports car. This active aero device is use
for generating downforce rather than mitigating drag. Inspired from LaFerrari, the active rear spoiler integrated into the rear bumper which stated to be capable of generating 360kg of downforce at 250kph with the hardcore, track-oriented Assetto Fiorano pack specified.
With this new visual appearance it’s so relatable with new era Ferrari’s like SF90 Stradale and Roma and closed to 488 GTB forebear. However, it’s definitely visually differentiate from the F8 Tributo. Additionally Ferrari also says that taken inspiration from classic models including the 1963 250 LM specially B-pillar, rear haunches and Kamm tail. The highlighted rear-end of the Ferrari design makes the perfect design combination of Spider and coupé styling cues.
By this design the perfect separation between the roof and B-pillars achieved and a pair of sizeable buttress flanking the engine bay. This will helps to pass air efficiently in the absence of a rear screen running from the roof to the rear.

Ferrari 296 GTB: Engine, Transmission & Top Speed
The 296 GTB is powered by twin-turbocharge 3.0-litre unit with new and bespoke powerplant developed in-house by Ferrari – generate 654hp, which is equivalent to 218hp per liter – said to be a record for a production car. The V6 engine is mated to an electric motor –in the rear part of this supercar for the first time hybrid system is mounted ahead of the 8-speed automatic gearbox – that produces 166hp of power to take the system’s over-all output to 830hp, which means 110hp more than the V8-powered F8 Tributo.
Combined torque output, is around 741Nm, which makes this latest Ferrari to touch 0-100kph in just 2.9sec with the top speed of more than 330kph. However just like SF90 Stradale, the 296 GTB can be driven on electric power alone (for around 42km and at speeds of up to 135kph), with the underfloored 7.45kWh battery.

296 GTB just like name it’s get a flagship high-tech cockpit of the SF90 Stradale flagship. 296 GTB has a concave dashboard section which houses the digital gauge cluster and steering wheel. While two panels down to the sides of the instrument panel house capacitive touch controls for an array of functions. A head-up display features, too, while the stereo speakers are finish to match the dashboard for a minimalist look. One nod to the past, however, comes in the form of a gearshifter styled to reference Ferrari’s classic ‘H-gate’ design.

Ferrari 296 GTB: Rivals
This brand new launch from Ferrari directly rival the Maserati MC 20 which is almost a copy at similar figures. However Both supercars are powerful, Italian mid-engine — but that’s about where the similarities end. The MC 20 similar 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine which is capable of making 621 hp. Only difference we could see the power gap between the two close once that arrives.
