Overview
2022 Ford Transit comes with quite cabin and lots of standard driver assist features. This full sized van will compete against Ram ProMaster and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. The Transit is offered in cargo, crew and passenger variants with different roof heights and multiple wheelbases to choose from. Transit available with 275 HP V6 or 310 HP twin-turbo V6 engine options mated to 10-speed automatic transmission. All variants have rear-wheel drivetrain as a standard but turbocharged engine is offered with all-wheel drivetrain.

The standard features include 16-inch steel wheels, power adjustable side-view mirrors, split swing-out rear door, four-way adjustable driver’s seat, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, 4.0-inch multifunctional display with four speakers, USB ports, forward-collision warning with automated emergency braking and lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
Optional features offered are blind spot monitoring, 8.0-inch display with in-built navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Ford Transit measures 174.2-inch long, 84.1-inch wide and has height of 72-inch with 104.8-inch long wheelbase.
Engine, Top Speed, 0-60 mph & Performance
Ford Transit comes in two engine options. The regular naturally aspirated 3.5-litre V6 engine producing 275 HP with 262 pound-feet of torque. Another turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 engine generating 310 HP with 410 pound-feet of torque. Both are mated to 10-speed automatic transmission and buyers have an option to choose between all-wheel or rear-wheel drivetrain. Ford transit has the towing capacity of 7500 pounds. Transit with turbocharged V6 variant can does 0 to 60 MPH in 6.8 seconds and have a top speed of 99 mph.
