Hero Is All Set To Launch 440cc Bike Details
Hero MotoCorp is preparing to produce a 440cc motorbike inspired by the Yamaha MT-01 in conjunction with Harley-Davidson. Several more new models, like the Karizma XMR 210 and Xtreme 200 S 4V, are also on the way. Excitingly, by the middle of this decade, a flagship dual-purpose adventure tourer and a powerful supersport powered by a liquid-cooled 420cc engine might be available.
Hero’s aim with the new 440cc bike
Hero’s new 440cc motorbike will make a bold move in the extremely competitive 350 to 500 cc middleweight class. This bike takes design influences from the Yamaha MT-01 and is based on the Harley-Davidson X440. It attempts to appeal to a wide variety of customers by providing a commanding riding stance and a pleasant ride. While the motor and chassis will be based on the HD X440, the sub-frame will have a new and creative design. Hero intends to sell this thrilling model through its premium dealerships, fueling competition in the middleweight market.
Hero’s 440cc bike Engine Specifications
Hero’s future 440cc bike will have a 440cc single-cylinder air- and oil-cooled engine that produces 27 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 38 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine will be paired with a six-speed gearbox, ensuring an exhilarating ride. However, whether there will be any performance improvements is unknown, which adds to the excitement around this highly anticipated release.
Pricing
The upcoming 440cc bike, with tweaked gear ratios, will debut under a new name, not the Xtreme banner. It is likely to have a competitive price, below Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom).
