10. Honda Civic
The Civic has been among the best-selling cars in the US since its introduction in 1972, so this is not a surprise. The Civic offers the general public a useful, economical, dependable, and reliable way to get around, and if you get one of the high-performance models, like the Type R, it can also be fun to drive. Honda sold 263,787 Civic units, a 1% bump compared to 2020 sales numbers.
9. Toyota Highlander
The New Highlander does get an updated engine set that is of turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder instead of the existing V6, which gives out the same power and mileage. The Highlander comes standard with a 265-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, which pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission and either front- or all-wheel drive. Americans bought 264,128 units of the Highlander, a 24.4% increase over volumes registered in 2020.

8. Jeep Grand Cherokee
This is a Midsize SUV with two different engine options. One is a 3.6-liter V6 engine for the base model and the other is a 5.7-liter V8 engine. The vehicle with V6 has a rear-wheel drive and the all-wheel drive is standard for the V8. This vehicle also has a hybrid trim with a 2.0L turbo engine as well. Jeep recorded better sales numbers than the 264,444 units sold last year.
7. Nissan Rogue
Nissan replaced the 2.5-liter four-cylinder NA engine with the peppier 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine which generates 201 HP mated to continuously variable transmission (CVT) with a standard front-wheel and optional all-wheel drivetrain. The standard safety features are blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection and adaptive cruise control with semi-autonomous driving mode. The brand sold 285,602 units of the Rogue, a healthy gain of 25.3% from 2020.

6. Toyota Camry
The Camry has been Toyota’s best-selling car in the U.S. for the last 20 years in a row. The majority head towards it for its impressive engine options, excellent handling, safety techs, and ride control. Toyota delivered 313,795 units in 2021, a 6.6% bump on the total sold in 2020.

And is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It comes standard front-wheel drivetrain while an all-wheel drivetrain is also available. But, as sales numbers went down by 5.3% from 2020, the RAV still sold 407,739 units.
3. Chevrolet Silverado

Pickup Game has been Ram’s child’s play and has been playing it for a long time, with nearly 40 years since the first model reached showrooms. The Ram Pickup has continued to increase its popularity with a well-built perfect for work and leisure bodywork. With 569,388 units sold, the Ram received a 1% increase.

Ford’s popular pickup, the F-Series with a refreshed lineup in 2021 included an updated Heavy Duty and a new hybrid variant. The F-Series was by far the most dominant pickup in the U.S. and the 2021 challenges didn’t leave Ford behind. Ford sold 726,004 units, down 7.8% from numbers recorded the previous year.
