Jair Messias Bolsonaro was born on March 21, 1955 in Glicerio, Brazil. He is a retired military officer and Brazilian politician. A member of the Liberal Party, in 2019 Jair became the 38th President of Brazil. From 1991 to 2018, Jair served in Brazil’s Chamber of Deputies, from Rio de Janeiro. He was active in the Brazilian Army for long 15 years from 1973 to 1988 where he was the part of 21st Field Artillery Group, 9th Field Artillery Group and 8th Parachutist Field Artillery Group. Bolsonaro announced his candidacy in March 2016 tying with Social Christian Party.
