What’s New For 2022 ?
For the 2022, Jeep has added multiple standard packages to it’s trims like the adventure ready trim adds a 35 inch BF Goodrich KO2 all terrain tyre with adjustable suspension, upgraded brakes, black exterior trim and badge. While the Willys Xtreme Recon adds a standard V6 engine with four door body only.

Engine, Transmission, 0-60, Top Speed & Performance
The 2022 Wrangler comes with a standard 3.6 Litre turbocharged V6 engine which makes a good 285 hp and 260 lb ft of torque with an optional 3.0 Litre turbocharged V6 diesel engine, and a new plug-in hybrid model which packs a 2.0 Litre turbocharged four cylinder engine combined with dual motor setup which makes 375 hp and 470 lb ft of torque combined while still having the option for the same hybrid tech with the V6. And for those who seek the best of what a Wrangler can offer can go for the top of the line Unlimited Rubicon 392 which packs 6.4 Litre Hemi V8 which makes an enormous 470 hp and 470 lb ft of torque.
All models come standard with eight speed automatic transmission or a satisfying stick shift six speed manual with four wheel drive and can blast off from 0-60 mph in a crazy 5.3 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 100 mph. While the Jeep Wrangler always have performed great for the daily driving usage but where it’s USP lies is on off-road where it just excels at, with a thrilling and confident steering it delivers really great handling and great stability control which also helps the ride comfortable and smooth with an endless supply of power from under the hood which results in a very fun driving experience. No matter if it’s a rocky mountain surface or any imperfect surface the Wrangler is always ready to tackle it all with ease and makes your adventure more exciting than ever.
Battery : Capacity, Range & Charging
With a new plug-in hybrid 4xe variant the Wrangler comes onboard with a 17 kWh battery which offers an electric only range of over 25 miles to give you that silent feel and peaceful highways cruising driving until it goes down and your turbo four starts to act.
Fuel Economy | Mileage
While one must think that the plug-in hybrid variant is the most efficient of all, the answer is no. It’s 3.0 turbo six diesel is the most fuel efficient with delivering a mileage of 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. While the plug-in hybrid variant delivering a mileage of 26 mpg. And it’s V6 at 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway and it’s most powerful V8 delivering 15 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway.

The Jeep Wrangler with all its glory starts at a price of about $31,590 (with standard four airbags) for the base variant and could go sky rocketing up to a hefty $75,000 for the Unlimited Rubicon 392. The 2022 Jeep comes with 11 variants with endless options of customizability and it is justified if you want to have a fun and thrilling but comfortable experience from a Jeep.
