The 2022 Kia Forte is futuristic designed and looks upmarket. It’s a very well equipped sedan with value for money aspect. But its base engine is very underpowered and its chassis isn’t that composed and delivers comfortable ride than that of sporty. Even its top-end 201 HP GT variant also isn’t that much versatile and matches its performance with the rivals such as Volkswagen Jetta GLI, Mazda 3 and Honda Civic Si.

Kia completely redesigned Forte with new grill, new front and rear bumpers, new alloy designs and a new 10.3-inch infotainment system for 2022.

It boasts desirable features such as 8.0 or 10.3-inch infotainment system with android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, SiriusXM satellite radio, in-built navigation, wireless charging and ambient lighting.
It scored 4-star safety according to NHTSA. Lane departure warning with lane keep assist and forward collision warning with automated emergency braking as a standard while lane following assist with adaptive cruise control is optional.

The 2022 Kia Forte offers two engine configurations such as 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine produces 147 HP and a turbocharged 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine making out 201 HP and mated to continuous variable transmission (CVT). The standard engine is quite underpowered and does 0 to 60 MPH in 8.1 seconds but if you want sufficient amount of power then you should opt a 1.6-litre turbo option which hit 0 to 60 in 6.7 seconds which is notably quicker than the Mazda 3. Forte delivers firm and composed ride quality but its handling is not justifying especially a GT badging.

Fuel efficiency | Mileage
According to EPA, the underpowered 2.0-litre engine with automatic transmission delivers 35 mpg combine while the 1.6-litre turbo (GT) with dual-clutch transmission (DCT) delivers 30 mpg.
