New Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 arrives in The US

The new Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 is the most high-performance vehicle ever designed for the one-make championship, which features uncompromising design, optimized aerodynamics and a new braking system.

The new limited-run Super Trofeo EVO2 is based on the marque’s striking Huracán road car yet has been tailored specifically for the track. This racer boasts an over-the-top aerodynamic package co-developed by Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse racing division and Centro Stile design team that improves airflow and maximizes downforce.
With a large yet light carbon-fibre wing, along with an arched carbon-fibre bumper and revamped diffuser fins, the car looks aggressive.
Its front-end features new high-intensity full LED light clusters with a hexagonal design, an aggressive “omega” lip that joins the sleek carbon fibre fins and new air curtain intakes to optimize airflow and at the rear new LED light clusters.

Under the hood, lies a 5.2L Naturally Aspirated V10 mated to a sequential 6-speed X-Trac transmission that delivers power to the rear axle. The EVO2 can churn out 620 hp and hit a top speed of 202 mph due to the new aero package and have a 0-60 mph acceleration in just 3.1 Seconds. Also, bigger 15.35-inch rotors up front and new callipers for greater stopping power.
The new EVO2 will make its debut on April 29 during the first race of the 10th Super Trofeo North America championship at the Weatertech Raceway Laguna Seca in California United States of America.
