Overview
The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS sedan is descent looking with no non-sense design. It body resembles minimum air drag co-efficiency which increases effortless drive experience. EQS sedan comes in two variants i.e. EQS450+ having 329 HP with rear-wheel drive system and EQS580 4Matic with 516 HP with all-wheel drivetrain. Both variants are embedded with 107.8 kWh battery which covers 350 miles of driving range.

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS sedan will be the first vehicle under Mercedes’s EQ sub-brand to be launch in U.S. It is the first vehicle to use the platform which is specially made for EVs.

Features
The EQS available in two drivetrains (450+ or 580) and three different variants (Premium, Exclusive and Pinnacle). Features offered four-zone automatic climate control, heads-up display, heated and ventilated front as well as rear seats, massage function for front seats, 56-inch Hyperscreen which includes 12.3-inch gauge cluster, 17.7-inch central touchscreen, 12.3-inch passenger side touchscreen with MBUX software.
Some safety features included self-parking assist, automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist and blind spot monitoring are standard.
Dimensions
The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS sedan is 5216mm long, 1926mm wide and has 1512mm of height with lengthy wheelbase of 3210mm.
Engine, Top Speed, 0-60mph & Performance
The Mercedes-Benz EQS available in two trims. The EQS450+ is powered by an electric motor which produces 329 Horsepower with 406 pound-feet of torque which transfers all power to the rear wheels. The more powerful EQS580 4Matic variant comes with 516 HP of power and 611 pound-feet of torque which connected to both axles (All Wheel Drive). The EQS450+ can does 0 to 60 MPH in 5.5 seconds while the EQS580 variant accelerates 0 to 60 MPH in just 4.1 seconds. EQS has a Top Speed of 155mph which is pretty insane. There is an option for upgrade of extra 10 degrees angle in rear axle steering system in 4.5 degrees to overcome on tight parking places. The wheel sizes are available in between 19 and 21-inch according to variants.
Battery Range
The both variants of EQS are embedded with 107.8 kWh lithium-ion battery setup. The EQS450+ and 580 gives driving range of 350 miles and 340 miles respectively. It took 11 hours and 15 minutes to charge from 10 to 100% using 240-volt (level 2) charger while from DC fast charger it will take 35 minutes to charge from 10 to 80%.
