The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray is not the average car that requires any modifications that it already comes with. But aftermarket companies and car tuning hours didn’t stop themselves from getting their hands on the Corvette. Germany-based tuning company Slystyle has made some tweaks to the C8 Convertible and our eyes are all over it. The German tuner has made several upgrades to the Stingray from its exterior looks and added performance. The Slystyle Corvette C8 Convertible gets a new gloss black front splitter with Vette’s bumper with tons of aerodynamic elements. They’ve added a new rear wing and a rear diffuser designed especially for the Corvette with TUV certification.
Design & Upgrades
The front splitter produces over 110 lbs (50 kg) of downforce while the new rear wing and diffuser add over 176 lbs (80 kg) respectively. The special satin-black wheels with 20×9 at the front and 21×11.5 at the rear are wrapped in 255/30 and 325/25 respectively. The SlyStyle Corvette C8 COnvertible also comes with a factory lift system that lowers the height by 20 mm. The Corvette’s engine also gets some upgrades such as the new K&N high-flowing air filter with customized intakes and exhausts. The tuners have also fitted a new oil catch can, a grail exhaust system with four 114 mm tailpipes.
Although Slystyle didn’t say about more performance upgrades in terms of the speeds and acceleration time. They said the Corvette is 0.5 seconds faster at the 62-124 mph mark compared to the standard version. The German tuner is working to unlock the car’s ECU unit to make further performance improvements and make it faster and quicker.
