Overview
The 2022 Toyota 4Runner is comes with generous off-roading capabilities and spacious cabin space with standard driver assistance features. It is based on ladder on frame with unrefined V6 engine which also sips more fuel. Another disappoint thing is that its interior material quality isn’t that great as compared to its core rival Jeep Wrangler.

Engine, Top Speed, 0-60 mph & Performance
Toyota 4Runner is powered by 4.0-litre V6 engine generating 270 HP mated to 5-speed automatic transmission with rear wheel and part-time or full-time four-wheel drivetrain system. As of now this powertrain seems outdated and can do 0 to 60 MPH in 7.7 seconds. But 4Runner has good off-roading capabilities with its soft suspensions and non-engaging steering wheel. We can’t compare its handling with Dodge Durango with V6 but 4Runner can tow 5000-pound load which is higher than the Ford Edge and Jeep Wrangler. While the Dodge Durango has highest 8700 towing capacity.
