Overview
The already luxury, high tech and powerful Q5 has got a spec bump. The new 2022 SQ5 and SQ5 Sportback which boasts a turbocharged V6 engine with a tuned sportier chassis and performance update. Although it’s not in the equation alongside the rivals such as the Porsche Macan Turbo, Mercedes AMG GLC Class and the BMW X3 M but it boasts a good load of features with the company’s advanced technology and a good ride quality makes it a satisfying and a compelling option for the buyers. Not to mention the Sportback model, for the people who seek more room and practicality.
What’s New For 2022 ?
Just like every car in the 2022 Lineup, the new Audi SQ5 will come with a new carbon fibre interior trim standard.
Engine, 0-60mph, Top Speed & performance
With only one powertrain option, the 3.0 Litre turbocharged V6 which produces 349 horsepower. Both the SQ5 and the SQ5 Sportback are paired with an eight speed automatic transmission with Audi’s Quattro all wheel drive system, it can achieve a timing of 5.1 seconds from 0-60 mph and can go at a maximum speed upto 155 mph, not quite as quick as the Mercedes AMG GLC 43 with 4.3 seconds but a second lag is compensated with a great driving experience with plenty of fun, and comfortable ride quality, how this car handles the bumpy and potholed roads is just astonishing. But it does a great job providing what the driver wants.
Fuel Economy | Mileage
The SQ5 is decently good when it comes to fuel efficiency. It manages to deliver a mileage of 19 mpg on the city and 28 mpg on the highway.
Dimensions & Weight
The 2022 Audi SQ5 will measure the dimensions of 183.9 inches in length, 74.5 inches in width, 65.3 in height and has a wheelbase of 111.2 inches and weighs around 2,009 kgs.
Price
The 2022 SQ5 will come at a starting price of $55,900 with the Sportback models having the price of $60,000.
