The new 2022 BMW comes with only one powertrain, with a smooth 2.0 Litre turbocharged four cylinder engine which makes 228 horsepower of power, paired with an eight speed automatic transmission which throws the power to its four wheel drive system and can go from 0-60 mph in just 6.3 seconds with a top speed of 129 mph which makes it one of the quickest subcompact SUV in its segment. The refinement of its engine with a good power delivery to all four wheels with an optional all wheel drive helps, and decent stability control. The new X1 gives a decent performance and is a great car for your everyday use, though you could still manage to make a lot more fun out of it compared to the healthy rivals such as the Mercedes Benz GLA 250 and the Audi Q2.

Fuel Economy | Mileage
The fuel efficient turbo four which the X1 packs manages to deliver a mileage of good 31 mpg combined. But the Mercedes GLA250 beats it in competition.
